"Gus" the day we met.
4 Years old.

In Early March 2000,
I purchased a beautiful 1/2 Saddlebred
1/2 Racking horse named "Gus".
Of course he needed a fancier name...

My friend Heather and I were driving to Fayetteville, Arkansas to buy "Gus".  I kept trying to find a better name, something flashy, something with meaning, something......

Then it hit me!  Shilo - a song by Neil Diamond!  How great is that.  I have this way of naming my horses after songs that I like.

Anyway... I bought SHILO and brought him to his new home.  A local barn.
